EATZ To Your Heart’s Content A Creative Food Collaboration Between Celebrity Chef Chris Valdes and the Loews Miami Beach

Chef Chris Valdes and the Loews Miami Beach teamed up to create a culinary extravaganza just for foodies! The invitation only event hosted by
media personality Lucy Lopez on Wednesday, February 23 rd, featureed mouthwatering recipes from Chef Chris’ new book One with the Kitchen as well as an over-the-top Argentinean and Mexican fusion taco station by Loews Executive Sous Chef Sebastian Ratti and delicious
desserts. Additional partners for the event included Bacardi, Florida Dairy Farmers, and arely PR. “I am thrilled to serve Hispanic dishes inspired from my childhood and taken from my cookbook at the luxurious Loews Hotel in the heart of beautiful South Beach,” said Valdes. “It is an honor
to collaborate with such a prestigious hospitality group and other chefs during the South Beach Wine and Food Festival® week”.


In addition, Chef Chris who recently shed 40 pounds, promised to prepare a few select healthier options at the foodie-packed event to inspire others through his health and wellness journey. Chef Chris Valdes, is a Miami-born philanthropic chef who donated more than 50,000 meals during the COVID-19 pandemic and rose to fame as a finalist on Food Network Star. Last year, Chef Chris self-published, his debut cookbook: One with the Kitchen. Available on Amazon, One with the Kitchen is part autobiography, part cookbook, and follows the story of how the Chef found his voice through food. The cookbook is perfect for cooks of all levels looking to add sabor to their home.


The book has already received high praise from Lee Schrager, Founder of the Food Network South Beach and New York Wine & Food Festivals who says, “One with the Kitchen is a passionately written cookbook that highlights Chris’ bold flavors and true grit in equal measure. A must-read for budding chefs.”


The always charitable Valdes donated hot meals and necessity baskets to the families at Ronald McDonald House Charities during the Festival and participating in Steak and Whiskey hosted by Michael Symon presented by Outfront Media part of the Miami Design District Event Series
on Thursday, Feb. 24. Additionally on Saturday, Feb. 26 he serve as Master of Ceremonies for the Goya Foods’ Family Fun Fest featuring Kidz Kitchen - part of the Hallandale Beach Event Series in the morning - and that evening participated in Tacos & Tequila presented by Tequila Cazadores hosted by Aaron Sanchez.
